It's true, Any wealthy person can skip town with these things. Staying hidden and living that life is another especially with the world being connected by the net among other things. It takes resources, psychological ones to live on the lam forever. Few have actually done this. I don't think he has the stones to run and stay hidden. I hope he gets beat down daily in prison for ruining those innocent kids lives. He is a disgrace to humanity.

I think option number two would have required some planning on his part. I'm guessing he didn't think he would ever get caught.

There was the case of John Goodman in Wellington, FL. Guy was worth 100 million+ and was looking at 15-20 years for a DUI manslaughter case. He paid victim's family 40 million and was living on house arrest at his estate guarded by 2 off duty sheriff's deputies 24/7 during the trial. He certainly had the means to get away and ended up with an 18 year sentence after 2 trials. He could be in the Bahamas in less than 30 minutes flight time or an hour in a fast boat then go anywhere internationally from there. I think he thought the high priced lawyers would get him off......they failed.
