Just curious - could the Kerchers seek civil damages against Knox? And if so, would Italian or English statues apply?

If this were in the U.S. It would obviously be their next move.

No, the Kercher family cannot take any other legal action against Knox or Sollecito because their civil case ran concurrently with the criminal case in its long journey through the Italian justice system. The final acquittal of Knox and Sollecito by the Italian Supreme Court ended both the civil and criminal cases against them forever.

ETA: Rudy Guede was ordered to pay the Kerchers 7 million Euro in damages, but since he is a prisoner and indigent, the Kerchers will probably never get that money.

This was obvious from the start. It's unbelievable the level of incompetence throughout the entire process of this case.
