Why can't this person come up with their own questions if they requested the interview? Seems unfocused.

Questions would depend on the crime, how long served and how much left. So...

What should those on the outside do to help your situation?

I would probably want to ask him what he thinks he can effectively to contribute to society in spite of his incarceration. If so, in what ways can/does that happen and how can that be developed to make other incarcerated prisoners "productive" to society from behind their prison walls?
