This is a pretty convoluted story, and if it turns out like I think it will, 2 people need to go in front of the firing squad. UT still has the firing squad, in case you were wondering, because many there believe in blood atonement.
Anyway, Tammy Daybell died, apparently of natural causes in her sleep about 2 months ago at the age of 49.
Her husband remarried within 2 or 3 weeks, to a woman with 2 children. A 7 year old with special needs, and a 17 year old girl. He's a religious speaker and writer, according to one source.
Relatives hadn't heard from the children since September, so they called police for a welfare check. The couple said the kids were in AZ with friends, which turned out not to be true. When police returned to the parent's house, they find they had quickly absconded and disappeared.
It sounds like to me it's the usual "let's get rid of our spouses so we can be together unhindered" scenario, except in this case the guy didn't want to raise these 2 kids so the agreement was he gets rid of his wife and she gets rid of the kids.
I forgot to mention the fact that the mother of the missing children's last husband died at the hand of her brother with no other witnesses than herself. As a religious speaker, Chad Daybell could easily have met Ms. Vallow while she still lived in AZ, and maybe this death was the first part of their plan.
They coulda shot him first then had Ms. Vallow hit him in the head with a baseball bat to make it look like self defense. I wonder if they will re-investigate this death too?
Just when I think I have heard it all...........another case with new and unusual actions attributed to it. (I say this "tongue-in-cheek", of course there are unlimited ways to die and to commit crimes/murder. Each case is unique).

I personally doubt that these kids are still alive. And both ex spouses dead. And the brother who shoots the husband is also dead, wtf?

The first report that no one but Lori and her brother Alex were in the house when Lori's husband was killed was erroneous. Turns out both missing kids were in the house too.
I wonder if they saw something and maybe the 17 yo daughter got angry when her mother married Daybell so quickly, or got angry about something else like teenage girls are wont to do, and threatened to tell. I also doubt that the kids are alive. The only scenario I can see that happening is if they got someone in their Prepper community to lock them up to keep them from telling until they could be brought into line. Reading some of the prepper comments on the news stories on local (Idaho and Utah) media sites makes me think that's not out of the realm of possibilities.
Lori's brother died the day after Tammy was exhumed. Suicide? Maybe he either finally figured out what his sister got him involved in and felt guilty, or knew he was going to get caught when they reopened Charles' death after Tammy's autopsy found foul play.
There are two more threads, one on the AZ board and one on the UT board just asking people to be on the lookout for this couple. Not much action on either one.
Just an interesting little tidbit that I found while reading about this case; Lori's first husband also died in 2018.
"Vallow’s ex-husband Joseph Anthony Ryan, Tylee’s father, also died young. He died of a heart attack in 2018. His body was cremated and can’t be exhumed."
This information may not be related to the other deaths at all but that sure is a massive amount of strange deaths related to just the two families in a mater of two years. Here is the article where I found the information.
Someone shot a paintgun at Tammy Daybell just 10 days before her death. She didn't think it was loaded, but I wonder if there was something in it that caused her death? They still haven't released her autopsy results.
She said the guy never spoke, which might indicate she would recognize his voice if he did. Plus he ran behind her house to get away. Did he actually run inside and get the mask off before Tammy got inside? Maybe it was Chad? This is really strange.
The two missing kids are definitely dead IMO. In the latest police briefing, witnesses told police that Lori told them her oldest daughter died a year ago (not true), and another witness told police that Chad and Lori stated they had no children.
Where are the bodies, and more importantly where are these two potential murderers? It should be easy to find them in today’s society. How long can you live without a phone and on cash only while evading security cameras?
It’s only a matter of days IMO before they’re nabbed and maybe we can get some answers.
Holed up in an end of the world cult compound? Out in the woods? In plain sight in some other state?
