Wife and I going to be staying at Quail Creek on our second shopping trip for a retirement home.

Anything of special interest happening in Tucson next week ?

Well, you picked a good week to see if you can handle the heat.

Tucson Weekly is the best place to find out about local events. You can access it online.

Hope you'll post reviews of your visits. We've discussed the communities we visited over and over and over. We think Quail is the best of Robson and the best of all the communities we visited. Love the area south of Tucson and love the "feel" of that community. Anxious to get your two cents worth!

I don't think handling the heat is a major issue for us. We live in Santa Clarita Calif. Last Thursday hit 108 and humidity while not high, is generally higher than Tucson due to our proximity to the Pacific I've been watching weather for several months now and Tucson and Santa Clarita stay very close in temperature.

Thanks for the link jukkesgirl

I hear ya, Steve . . .

Prior to relocating to Tucson back in the mid 90's, I lived in Contra Costa County and in spite of the "weather warnings" from friends and neighbors, I am convinced the weather here is much less painful.

If you can make it through July and August . . . the remaining months are a Piece of Cake.
