I would say that population density in southern Arizona is nothing like it is in southern California. Yes, there are a few larger cities where the population is more dense, but much of southern Arizona is smaller towns with LOTS of space in between. Southern Arizona IS a beautiful place, at least to me. I live in Green Valley which is about 20 miles south of Tucson. Between Tucson and Green Valley, there is an Indian Reservation which will thankfully keep Tucson from reaching Green Valley. Like others have said, get off the freeway and go a few miles in any direction and you will most likely feel like you are the only one around, or one of the few in a given area. The weather is fantastic and you can live as remotely as you want to. Please come on over and visit and see for yourself!!!!
