Guys, I don't know how many other videos like this there are out there, but I have been trying to get this capture for 3+ years now, and I finally got it and I want to share! If you are interested in bird watching or wildlife in general, please see this video!

Thank you for sharing! I love it. You're so lucky to have caught that. Wonder if he has a mate? Fledgling cardinals would be too cute.

Hey, glad you enjoyed it! You are right, fledgling cardinals would be a great capture if that could ever happen!!! As far as a mate goes, I think things are looking up for a fella who can sing like that, and look that good doing it!!!

Yesterday morning I was hiking on the trails of Saguaro Nat'l Park east side, that start at the east end of Speedway in Tucson. We saw several cardinals from a distance. I would have liked to snap a photo of one, but they did not sit still for long. Now I know why the serious bird watchers have high end photo equipment, instead of the simple 13 megapixel camera built into my phone. Your video picked up good sound, in a addition to the images of the cardinal!

I envy you hiking the trails of Saguaro Nat'l Park east side! Glad you saw some cardinals....they are really tough to get pictures or video of! I used to do all my recording with my cell phone cam, but I realized I was really missing some great shots that I would get with a better camera, so I bought this Cannon PowerShot SX720HS that has a 40x OPTICAL zoom as opposed to the digital zoom that most phones have. I feel really lucky to have gotten this little bit of video of the cardinal singing!!!
