............the rest of your great post.................
Given the way she earned it in the end, I can't say as I mind. She answered the last question of the interview better than her opponent, who was probably the more skilled overall. Essentially, she beat him with a last-second 45-yard field goal. Well, when that happens, you win the game, and we say you played better because you won. Hard to argue with that objective proof here.
I totally agree and appreciated your analogy!
I think anyone successful in business has got to use the assets they have. Different people have different assets. Some are funny, some are people person's, some are charming, some are great orators, some are attractive...etc. I think NOT to use the assets you have would be the true sign of not being fit for leadership.
As a female, I don't have a problem with a woman playing a little bit of the seductive card in the work place when needed. It served me well for many years. (Of course, I worked for the Navy......)
Also the fact that Clint is a christian and comes from the South contributed to Trump's decision to not hire him. I don't know how Trump will candidate for President as a Republican when he hates 70% of the voters!
How in the world do you figure? I didn't even see Clint making religion an issue, nor Trump. Clint went out of his way to sound folksy, but I know plenty of non-Southerners who sound folksy too. Clint isn't a candidate for the trademarked Southern Persecution Complex in this one. Anyone from any region acting too hickish in this very urban setting would have had the same problem.
Trump: "Brandy, are you and Steuart having an affair?"
Brandy: "No, sir, we are not. I prefer older men, Mr. Trump." [raised eyebrow/ ::hint hint::]
And that's just what they showed us. I think she totally used her sexuality to get that job.
I think she did not miss an opportunity to offer herself up to him. It was brazen.
For those who think this is acceptable behavior, would you rear your daughters to use sex to get ahead, and if you have sons in industry, would you tell them to expect sex offerings from female employees?
I doubt it.
Again, I understand office affairs, when people are in constant contact and see each other at their best and you're working long hours. Things happen. This was not the case, it was a deal amongst strangers, like a hooker would do. Don't tell me she watched him on tv since she was a child and fell for his comb over.

When I heard that exchange, I thought...."Oh my, how very Samatha Jones (from Sex in the City) of her."
Then I thought, Trump is probably a little bored with his Eastern European model/trophy wife. She is 40 now and The Donald is seemed a little more "frisky" during this season

Ever heard of joking around? Don junior laughed and said "You're hired!" ad everyone laughed. Anyway, Brandy's board room answer was from the heart! I wished she worded it better, but hey at least she didn't sound rehearsed like Clint. It was a risky answer to give, but you know the Wall Street saying: High risk, high reward.
