He was also an antiques dealer. Also, I think he comes from money (family). He's also related to Jessie James (the car/motorcycle builder).

I saw the episodes from last Tuesday, and am not happy with the new dude, Jeff Jarred.

If this guy turns out to be a regular, he's gonna sink the show. He comes off as a apron-string tugging momma's boy Star Wars collector type who was an only child. Serious attitude and infantilism coming off this guy.

He keeps showing up, I might just stop watching until I hear about him not being a regular.

I agree he cries about fair but he seems to disregaurd that when it comes to putting the screws to his customers on his prices
if he gets a deal why not pass some of it on to the person that wants to buy it.

Well, I'm all for getting what you can if you are going to be selling anything, as that environment is too feast or famine, and the famine usually lasts longer than the feast, but I agree, his morals of fairness sure do seem to stop when he has the advantage.

He really comes off as a crybaby momma's boy. I know I'd never shop in his store if ever given the chance knowing how he acts-or comes off in this show. Hypocrite comes to mind...

So, word is floating that Dave Hester, who did not re-new his contract with the show, might be coming back.

I wonder if they tried to build up this Jeff Jarred guy so that Hester could come in and pimp-slap this guy right off the show.

I'm really bored with this show. A&E needs to find something new rather than showing Storage Wars reruns twenty times a day.

My niece had a work related luncheon at a Detroit casino today, and Barry was there having lunch with a VP. He said he would take a pic with the group when he was done eating, but he was never done eating, so the pic never got taken! She said his voice carried, so if you were a fan of the show you would recognize his voice. I wonder if he planned to pay a visit to the Hardcore Pawn store/staff while in town?

Since I don't regularly watch the show, i caught myself watching several episodes yesterday. I can stand watching for awhile but get bored and end up moving to some other show. I probably catch a few more episode in a few months when I'm bored with whatever show I'm fixated on next

How times have changed. I wonder how this show would have been received by studio execs had it been pitched twenty years ago. "You want to make a show about people bidding on storage lockers?" .... LOL
