Just wondered who cooks all those nice meals for them when they all go out to work , or did I miss a post ?
Just FYI, They apparently Grandpa, the Commissioner, daughter Erin, her daughter Nicky and Danny's wife take turns on Sunday depending on their specialty.

Yes, I am way too into this show.
Me too! Love all the characters, even pig-headed Danny. He's so right for the part. Tom Selleck has always been one of my favorite actors. His role as Commissioner is "tailor made" for him.

I have a love/hate relationship with the program. Generally the NYPD is always right (yes there have been a several plot lines of bad bad police) Danny does irk my sole but I do so love the fights between the Commissioner, press secretary Garret and Gormley with Baker acting as silent guardian of them all. I absolutely hated the Jessie Jackson/Sharpen caricature Rev. Potter which is why I was soooo happy to see that the casted Whoopi as President of the council, an African American unhappy with the NYPD but willing to deal with the commish in a serious and professional manner.
Did any New Yorkers watch last night's episode, "Down the Rabbit Hole," in which characters mentioned "48th and Columbus" and "41st and Amsterdam" as locations? Below 59th Street, Columbus is called 9th Avenue, and Amsterdam is 10th. And this show is shot in NY. Do the writers live in LA? Have they never been to NY?

Maybe they didn't think it was necessary to write in real street names since it's a television show & not real life.

Yeah, but what sounds more New York to non-New Yorkers 41st and 10th or 41st and Amsterdam? The same goes for 48th and Columbus vs 48th and 9th.
You're from Delaware, any place with more than three street names is interesting...Wilmington excepted.
