Are they considering not filming a season 4, Hopes? I think they did that after season 2. At first, the producers said they were cancelling the show but then changed their mind. Maybe the petition is something new they're doing. Why waste money filming, if no one will watch? Cost saving tactic? Not a bad idea.

I don't believe they've announced yet whether they are renewing, or not. They can't film without a deal in place. It's all about the money. The backlash for season two caused the ratings to drop dramatically, the show fell out of favor, and became a bit of a joke.

Apparently, ratings for season three were around the same as season two, but the last thing I read was that they were waiting on DVR numbers to get a fully accurate picture of ratings. Hopefully the Netflix/Fox/AMC deal will remain and allow it to return even if it lags behind the ratings of some other AMC shows. I'm guessing by the way they ended it they are very hopeful for a season four. Leaving the viewers hanging on a new possible story angle was probably a good idea to get the petitions, and public favor going.

Enos was on Fallon and he was gushing about The Killing. Course he does tend to gush about everyone/everything on his show. When I google either Kinneman or Enos I see a lot of "Kinneman, known for his role on The Killing" type intros so I think there is lots of positive support out there. Fingers crossed.

AMC has cancelled the show...again. It's a shame. It wasn't my favorite show, but the actors really made it worth watching, and it was certainly much better than Low Winter Sun.

I wonder if Netflix would consider picking it up now.

Bummer! I don't know if Netflix will pick it up w/o AMC, it would be nice, but I won't hold my breath.

Low Winter Sun has been such a disappointment.

I can't wait to see what Joel Kinnaman does next. I have a feeling the offers are pouring in.

I think it was reported that he is starring in the new Robocop flick...

He might go on to star in many things but lets face it, we will never see Holder again,
