She already brought samples from both men. Any way, after further checking I see one can do a test at 8 weeks of pregnancy although I don't think she is that far along (but anything is possible in soap opera land!).

I dont know that it really is, she could have said that just to calm Steffy down, in the best interest of the baby (but she'd be risking losing her license, it's really not ethical), it wouldn't surprise me if the situation is revisited eventually (if the baby needs a transfusion etc - although Liam and Billl are closely related so I dont know as it would make much difference but the bio father would prob. be a better match etc)
My first thought was did Bill "pay off" the doctor to say it's Liam's.

I think the lab made a mistake since they asked if the two men were related.
