Isn't it a bit too early in the pregnancy for Steffy to be able to do a paternity test?

In real life probably. And she's going to need dna from Bill and Liam

She already brought samples from both men. Any way, after further checking I see one can do a test at 8 weeks of pregnancy although I don't think she is that far along (but anything is possible in soap opera land!).

I was surprised that the baby is actually Liam's. What an anti-climax!

Also why don't they show ever that Katie actually has her young son living with her?

My first thought was did Bill "pay off" the doctor to say it's Liam's.

I dont know that it really is, she could have said that just to calm Steffy down, in the best interest of the baby (but she'd be risking losing her license, it's really not ethical), it wouldn't surprise me if the situation is revisited eventually (if the baby needs a transfusion etc - although Liam and Billl are closely related so I dont know as it would make much difference but the bio father would prob. be a better match etc)

I don't think so, he looked genuinely disapointed.

I think the lab made a mistake since they asked if the two men were related.
