I'm curious. If your cable or dish company has TV shows you can see On Demand, do you watch the TV shows On Demand because you missed them when they aired or because you'd like to see them again? If you do it for both reasons, for which reason do you do it more?

I usually DVR my favorite series but will watch something a second or third time On Demand if available. Sometimes I find a new show to watch based on the shows available. I enjoy On Demand but won't pay for movies though.

I prefer to watch On Demand so that I can pause when I want to and watch it at my leisure.

I don't have a DVR, so I generally use OnDemand to watch shows that I've missed.

If my DVRs have conflicts, or if they fail to record something, I'll see if it's available On Demand. I hate how you can't FF while watching On Demand shows. Those that do allow some for of fast forwarding are nowhere near the speed of my DVRs. It's just a waste of energy to have to leave my tv on longer 'cause the networks require cable companies to disable FF features when airing On Demand programming.

I would suffer through not being able to fast forward but if you miss something, you can't rewind! That is just not right in my opinion.

I use on demand for shows I missed, as well as movies when there's nothing good on other channels.

Free movies usually stink, but the Sundance channel ones are good - watched Wendy & June twice already and could watch it again. An excellent movie.

OnDemand. Usually for shows I've missed or when there are two shows I want to watch on at the same time. Rarely to re-watch.

I use On Demand for shows that I've missed. I like the fact that you can fast forward through the commericials.
