So Oprah is gone, Dr Oz is moving into her 4pm slot. Never liked either of them, but I rarely watch TV at 4pm anyways and if I do, it's Judge Judy or Jeopardy
Anyway, my question is: has it been announced yet what/ who is replacing Dr Oz in the 11am slot?
I just answered my own question, saw a commercial: The Nate Berkus show is replacing Dr Oz at 11am. Not familiar with him/ his show, but it seems to be a general lifestyle show where he gives advice on decorating, fashion etc.
Interesting....Oprah and Oz are on ABC, Nate and Ellen both are on NBC here, and Dr Phil is on CBS. So unless they change the syndication rights here, Nate, Ellen or Phil won't be stepping into Oprah's slot.
Adding...one report I just read said that Oz is taking her spot. Here she was on at 4 PM and Oz was on at 3 PM. So that leaves a 3 PM slot open if that occurs. Not a major deal. We've already got a morning local news show on ABC, where other stations have begun one in place of Oprah.
Add to that losing both All My Children and One Life to Live and ABC has some big changes coming!
NYC/LI: Dr. Oz is on Fox, Oprah was on ABC, Ellen and Berkus on NBC.
Fox had Dr Oz on at 11am and 3pm (1 current show, the other from the week before). They are now moving him to 4pm (which was Oprah's slot on ABC). I'm not sure if they're keeping him on at 11.
ABC is moving their news to 4pm, so I'm guessing we'll have news from 4pm until 7pm (which makes no sense to me)
I haven't heard of any changes on NBC.
Funny how these shows are on different networks in different parts of the country.
