Wow. He is a true hero. Just think how he must have felt (I saw photos of this) when he was in a hospital bad right after the accident. Probably that his life was over. Look how things turned out for him, a real lesson that life has surprises waiting for all of us if we just allow them to happen.

In an interview he said that, in the hospital, he wished he hadnt lived and worried that no one would ever love him. His mother gave him the emotional support he needed to get through that hard time -- and she obviously raised him right in the first place, as well.

That is exactly where the initial praise should be...on JR's mother. Just think of what a better world this would be if there were more mothers out there like her.
