and they certainly are not thinking about any poor unhealthy child that may be born with multi issues---do they have a special religion that states that the woman must be pregnant at all times? how is it possible t hat in her forties she is so fertile---hormones or jb's super sperm????

Ha, she did mention that this is the longest span of time between their kids, I can't rem. how old Josie is (a yr?) but apparently the other kids were a lot closer in age (talk about being fruitful and multiplying!), hopefully their fertility is slowing down, I hope this one is off to a healthier start than Josie was, who came very early and had problems for a while. There can't be many more J names they can pick from, can there - ?

Yes, aa, they do belong to a religion (aka:cult?) that wants the woman to be pregnant at all times....it's called "Quiver Full".

Really, I think it is just a little bit gross that she continues to pop out babies like shooting out a football.

There is NO way that these kids get much attention from their parents; it simply isn't possible. I read an article by a grown women who grew up in a 'quiver full' family and she stated that the daughters tend to the younger children. That she didn't have much of a childhood herself and she would not choose the same lifestyle as an adult or for her own children.

The Duggars seem like nice people ~ quiet and soft spoken ~ I certainly would wish the best for this pregnancy.

But I would not want to have 19 (or more) brothers and sisters.

I think people use religion to sometimes do very strange things. It goes against common sense to keep having babies once you get to a certain age or once your babies seem to be having health issues. At least the Duggers seem to be able to provide for their babies, unlike the Sister Wives.

This thread is about the show. This is not a thread about the Duggers expecting another child. That should be in the Celebrity forum. This thread is closed.
