What are your experiences with high def tv? I just bought a new high def and I want to upgrade my dish network. Any feedback will help.

Picture quality is crystal clear and quite stunning actually. Go to Best Buy or some other major store and look at the hd pictures on display. I had Dish Network for years, canceled and went with Directv.

You will get spoiled by it quickly. Watching tv without high def looks so blurry in comparison.

Well, I will say it's been great for my ego! All those "perfect" people aren't so perfect after all.

I have only seen it in the store but I think it's really nice. Now if only I needed a new TV.............

Can't justify getting a new one when the old one still works. Rats!

Go for it. I have a few HD tvs at home along with Dish Networks HD package. I LOVE IT!! My only problem with DishNetwork is that they no longer carry FTV (Fashion tv network) as part of their HD package. Was AMAZING watching their "midnite haute" lingere runway fashion shows in HD.

If you have an HD tv you almost HAVE to get an HD package because regular tv looks HORRIBLE on an HD set.
