I have a bazillion channels because none of them put out more then a handful of good programming. Some of the ones I consider the best:
HBO - Game of Thrones, True Blood, Boardwalk Empire, Newsroom
Showtime - Weeds, Nurse Jackie, Big C, Dexter, Borgias, Californication, House of Lies, Homeland
AMC - Walking Dead, Breaking Bad
Excellent shows back to back....... Most stuff on TV now is pure crap but they thankfully have not lost it!
My wife and I are addicted to this channel. We discovered it a few weeks back and if there is nothing else on that we want to watch we have this channel on constantly.
