I don't remember seeing this TV programme from the 80s, with Jon Erik Hexum, he died messing about with a gun on the set containing blanks, putting it to his head in a joke.. the impact of the blank's wadding killed him. when they tried to put another actor in his part it just didnt work and the show was scrapped.., does anyone remember this show at all, as it was supposedly have been really good...

I remember it, but the events surrounding Hexum's death sort of overshadow the actual series. The premise had two undercover agents posing as models on photo shoots (one female--Jennifer O"Neill, and one male--Jon-Erik Hexum, and later Antony Hamilton). It was an interesting premise, since it allowed them to go to exotic places and do spy drama stuff interspersed with cheesecake/beefcake stuff. It was the 1980s, so that was plenty for a show to get on the air. Very sad what happened with Hexum, and I wished at the time that they would have simply cancelled the show rather than try to go on with a new actor.
