I think people use the Jenners/Kardashians as scapegoats because they're freaking JEALOUS of the multi-millions of dollars they're all making via their reality show, modeling, endorsements, their stores (NY, CA, FL), clothing lines, cosmetic lines, etc etc etc. If people really hated them that much, all their endeavors wouldn't be so successful!

I wouldn't blame Kris Jenner just because NBC decided not to stop everything "at the moment the first plane hit the tower".

I'd rather see the 911 coverage than that crap they had.

Yep.... shameless "publicity hounds" who have made tens of millions of dollars off their tv show, books, clothing line, cosmetic line, etc etc etc..... They're set for life. Their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren are set for life.

Nothing to feel just a tad envious of.

Hey, if we can stop every December 7th to remember Pearl Harbor and our subsequent entry into a world war that claimed 55 million lives globally, CERTAINLY we can remember 9/11 for a minute or two as it ended more lives in 1 hour and 42 minutes than what Pearl Harbor did during 2 waves of attacks over 4 hours?

It's not asking that much. And if you think it is, just ask a Pearl Harbor vet or a 9/11 direct survivor if they think it's just toooooooo much of a sacrifice and "burden" to be bothered with?

It's right up there with saluting the flag, saying the pledge of allegiance and school prayer.....it isn't going to make your kids head explode or intrude upon your civil liberties long enough to matter. Put your tampons back in, salute the flag, have respect for those that gave their lives at Pearl Harbor and honor the memory of those innocent folks that died in a horrendous display of hate from parts of the Islamic world.

It's really, really not asking too much.

Semper Fi,

Semper Fi,
They devoted time that day to the 9/11 tribute. Try again.

Excellent point. We're left to do that on our own without tandem prompting by all the major networks at the moment the first wave began. Most of the networks will cover a Pearl Harbor remembrance ceremony or other related event during their news hour. Some networks will offer special coverage.

Families at World Trade specifically requested no politicians participate this year. It's time for people to stop leaching off their grief - it's morbid and excessive.

Don't even get me started on the "World Trade Center Families" --- they put a hold up on EVERYTHING that was supposed to be built at the site. No matter what plans/ideas were presented, they just had to complain, complain, complain, all the while raking in MILLIONS of dollars in cash, gifts, mortgage payoffs, college funds, etc etc etc.... They were a bit "morbid and excessive" themselves. It was nothing but pure greed after a while.

As for the networks?? EVERY network had some kind of coverage, including NBC. Just because they didn't pause at the exact second the first plane hit doesn't mean they didn't cover it. Again, the ONLY reason this is an issue is because Kris Jenner just happened to be a guest on their show.
