I've seen three episodes thus far (the two dealing with the boxing match, and the one about one charactor playing pranks on another). I agree: utterly funny. A real gem of a show.
The scene where the therapist usings a cattle prod to 'shock' the anger out of the patient (angry because of his car being 'pranked') was one of the funniest scenes I have seen in years.

It wouldn't have made it. The majority of the cast is unheard of for the audience major networks fo after. I think this is one of the best shows BET has ever aired. I hope they keep the writing fresh

I think the show will have to appeal to a larger, mixed audience (blacks, whites, and maybe Hispanics) before a major network (e.g., ABC, CBS, NBC, or Fox) or a larger cable network (e.g., Comedy Central, TBS, or TNT) will pick it up. Since Chris Rock will be replacing Robin Thicke in Season 2, the show will definitely pick up more viewers because Chris Rock has fans of every race, creed, and religion in his fan base.
For the record, I like the show, but I'm not entirely in love with it... yet. Maybe Chris Rock can make it as funny as The Chappelle Show was before that show abruptly ended and broke my heart (that show was insanely funny!). We'll see when Season 2 kicks off.
It's a hilarious show. Better than a lot of the crap on the major networks.
I don't normally watch BET, but when I do... it's for stuff like this.
