Maybe they killed off Karen so there would be a thread of interest if the show continued. Obviously they didn't know the show was going to be cancelled or else Karen would have married her new beau. It was an awful ending one of the worst ever and a HUGE disappointment, it deserved to be cancelled because there was nothing else to do with it.
I thought Mistresses had a huge following from all the Desperate Housewife fans. Guess I was wrong!
