After Sunday (when GOT S3E10 airs) I will be looking for a new series to watch. I've watched and enjoyed what is available for Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, House of Cards (American version) and Downton Abbey. I will soon be through E3 of Boardwalk Empire. I started Mad Men, but could not get into it. Any suggestions?

Sons of Anarchy (Game of Thrones on motorcycles)

The Sopranos (second only to Breaking Bad as the best TV series ever)

Monarch of the Glen (a more light hearted modern show in the vein of Downton Abbey)

Justified (second only to Breaking Bad as the best show currently on TV)

Bates Motel (not sure this is available yet, but worth a watch)

Borgias seems to be a good series. Showtime has cancelled it, but it had a lengthy run. I believe it is available on Netflix.

Thanks all. I will be checking out your suggestions. BTW, that should have read "S3 of Boardwalk Empire".

Not on Netfix or HBO, but The Good Wife is on Amazon Prime. It's already been on for 5 seasons. Lots to watch! Just mentioning it in case you're already signed up for that service for the shipping discount.

Really enjoyed House of Cards on Netflix as well as West Wing which I missed the first time around. 30 Rock is there too but not the last season. I got a Nexus 10" tablet for christmas and i love watching Netflix in the early morning hours in my bed with ear phones.

Deadwood was terrific! I will never forgive HBO for canceling it.
