I've been listening to the Comedy Bang Bang podcast for awhile and really enjoy it. It's top notch absurd/improvisational comedy that has a weirdness and uniqueness I associate with Letterman back when he was funny.
I've known an accompanying TV show has been on the air, but not having cable, I haven't seen it. I stumbled across the show on Netflix, and holy hell it's a great show. I'm about half way through the first season, and every episode has left me very impressed. The whimsy, the vey deft way they work with the cultural vocabulary and the overall aesthetic is top hole.
This is comedy that is original, that doesn't rely on filth, shock value or mean spiritedness. The show is the product of somebody who understands comedy thoroughly and dissects the art form masterfully.
