Thought I'd revive this thread from page 3 of the forum...
After a few episodes, there are some strong chefs this season. I think the right person was sent home last night, although I would have liked to have seen a few chefs sent packing.
What I'm wondering is why it went down to two people, one was sent home, and the one who was kept on got to have her say, while the one who left, said nothing?

Probably just editing. I'd say the person leaving didn't have anything interesting enough to make the air, or maybe something was said that couldn't be aired.. Though I figure they're have hyped that and bleeped it.
Elise needs to see the writing on the wall: She can't bake. I really wish she had gone home. She's made three pies and failed miserably each time. She's supposed to be a baker! She needs to stop crying and start cooking.
I can't STAND Leslie! He's so arrogant and obnoxious. He's always throwing around his age and lifestyle. We get it: you're 56 and your wife makes enough money for you to stay at home and live a privileged lifestyle. Now move on from that. I'm rooting for him to leave soon. It seems he's always picking on someone.
It's still too early for me to pick a favorite, but Dan won major points for going through the pressure test. He didn't do the best, but he did better than some. Even the self-proclaimed baker, Elise.
