Green Acres has to be the best, it was so odd and original and creative. It just puts a smile on your face and takes you back to better times.
Other winners in no particular order:
The Munsters. Great beat.
Newhart. Very relaxing and you wanted to move to Vermont and live next to the Loudens. Henry Mancini was the man.
Magnum P I. On the cool factor, this one was tops.
Get Smart. Cool beat.
Gilligan's Island. It explained everything like it was supposed to.
Cheers. Catchy tune and if only all, or even a few, bars were like that.
Ones I didn't like:
Gomer Pyle USMC. Two characters marching, one yelling at the other. Boring.
Good Times. Depressing visually and musically.
Step By Step. Gag me with Stevia.
Valerie's Family. They looked so forced doing those family activities. Bad music.
But probably the catchiest theme tune you'll never get out of your head if you hear it:
Hello, Larry.
Petticoat Junction
Secret Agent Man
Mr. Ed
The Saint
The Equalizer
Bonanza
The Monkees (Hey Hey we're the Monkees)
The Odd Couple
Mission Impossible
I Dream of Jeannie (second theme)
And probably my all-time favorite:
