I know that You Tube has always been available on my PC's over the years. But I never took it seriously. However I have discovered that there is (now?) a lot of great TV watching available. A lot of silly crap and a lot of junk. But a lot of great stuff also. Watching through my Roku on my large screen TV I am spending more and more time surfing You Tube.

I do that as well but I'm using the Sony google box there are so many other features I've never used once on it. Netflix & YT fills our viewing needs at the moment.

I could watch TV on my PlayStation 4. That can play on my TV so that is cool.
