An entertaining and clever finale to what has long been one of the crappiest, formulaic retread shows on TV.

I liked on the 2nd half of the show when Jake shows up and they're all standing by the door. Everytime they said something funny they all would look towards the camera like...'do you get it'??

What I didn't get was the comment Jake made abt the Japanese pole dancer.????
Can anyone explain?

The ending w/the piano was good!

I didn't get the pole thing either.
Loved the first piano and the winning remark, but why drop a piano on Chuck?

She's not a "Pole" or Polish dancer...she's Japanese. There used to be a ton of Polish jokes a long time ago.

I don't get the two and a half million dollar joke.

OH OK, that's what I was thinking about the pole dancing joke.

I would say self deprecation, or like a slight admittance that he had a hand in all of the Charlie mess too.

I kept wondering throughout the show why Berta wasn't getting any money because Charlie always liked her. And then she 'fessed up at the end. That was funny. I still remember Concetta Ferell in "Hot el Baltimore" as April. She was one of my favorite characters.

I quit watching the show a while ago but came back to see how they tied things up. I thought it was kind of funny with all the inside jokes and the way they brought back some of the Characters. I liked seeing Rose and Jake. This show needed to go and it went. That was the best part of the whole thing.

One of my favorite quotes from the show was a recent one. Alan was dressed up as Duckie from Pretty In Pink, who Jon Cryer played in Pretty In Pink, and someone said to him, who are you, Ferris Beuller? And Alan says, "you win again, Broderick!" Classic. I LOVE when tv shows make references to related stuff like that! Only thing that would have made it better is if Molly Ringwald showed up!

In the ending credits the Chuck Lorrie page said they understand that some fans would be disappointed that Charlie Sheen wasn't in the finale but he was asked and he said no because he didn't think it was funny that they planned on dropping the piano on HIM. So that's why the piano was dropped on Chuck instead.
