I'm watching. It's amazing but it is also making me feel old. What the hell is wrong with Chevy Chase? Broke my heart to see him like that. Go Peyton!!!
What's wrong with Chevy Chase ?
Haven't seen it yet, DVR'd it. Think we'll see 1st part tomorrow.
Best line so far (paraphrased):
Opera Man sang that all these people were appearing while not "getting paid-oh". But since Betty White was there, at least they were "getting laid-oh". This, after Bradley Cooper practically sucked the dentures out of her mouth.
I can remember when the show was still funny back in 1979.
The best musical guest ever was Frank Zappa, mainly because he did involve himself in the sketches like the killer Christmas tree or the coneheads. I tried to find them on youtube but they were deleted because of NBC copyrights.
Are you saying the show hasn't been funny since '79, or that they were still funny in '79 and other years, but they aren't now? Because if it's the former you've missed a lot of funny stuff. I loved the first cast, but they've had some other really talented casts since then.
Pretty disappointed here. I was hoping for a lot more of the best sketches over the years. Like her or not, Miley Cyrus had the best vocals of the night. Weekend Update was good though.
