I agree it is harsh. I don't have a lot of empathy towards junkies. I hope he does stay clean and do root for recovery for anyone that's addicted but I won't have a lot of sympathy for junkies behavior. Too much destruction and damage to people who have nothing to do with the addiction. I do agree he is stupid but he is also selfish. He signed up for the show. He knew what was up but as soon as he didn't win he ran away. Speaks for itself.

I wonder if the lifestyle habits are harder to kick than the drug addiction. Junkies get used to lying, for example, to the point where it becomes a reflex any time the truth would be inconvenient. That's a hard enough habit for a sober person to break. Another would be complete selfishness: only I matter, only what I want matters, and the only justification needed is 'because I want it.' I had a colleague in sales who was that way. When told he could not have this or that, he would respond with: "But I want it!" He expected this to serve as refuting logic.

I'm guessing that one of the above played into Vytas's bagging out of sequester.

Looking forward to next season!
It's a good thing you started watching this season, and not the season before this one. That season prior was particularly brutal, with drama queens and nasty, narcissistic people on it. This season, however, was the perfect balance to last season, with a lot of players who you could grow to like over the season.

I had no doubt that Jeremy was going to win, especially after he got two Idols. Giving one of them away in this game is worth multiple votes at the end, if you make it that far. Having the ability to convince others that the jackpot is for someone other than yourself is also worth a few more votes. Jeremy got every vote, wasn't even close.

Everyone remembers their "first" season. Mine was Toncantins.

This is when you go back and watch old seasons again! If you have Amazon Prime, you can watch all of seasons 1 (Broneo of course), 3 (Africa), and then 12 (Exile Island) through 28 (Brains Brawn Beauty) for free. I'm not sure why you can watch seasons 2 or 4-11 (can't even buy them except on DVD) but that's still plenty of Survivor!

^^Yeah it's weird. I really want to watch season2 and a few in the 4-11. Wish they'd get on that.
