They're taking the X Files off Netflix as of April 1, why would they do that?

I'd check amazon and hulu and see. That is one of the series I'd sit and watch all over again but you HAVE to watch it in order.

And a reason why those dvd's you bought of the show were a good idea.

Stuff won't stay on subscription services forever and when you have something to pop in the dvd player, then you can do a marathon any time you want.

Yeah, I have Amazon Prime, so I get shows and movies for free. It's my back up to Netflix.

There is no reason to expect that any show will be infinitive available on any of the subscription services.

Chances are it could be available again in a few months after contracts are negotiated. That happens all the time--shows are regularly pulled and then put back up.

Yep.
There's a lot of stuff leaving in April, some will likely find its way back eventually.

What's leaving Netflix in April?

Isn't it amazing that a person asks a simple question and gets a snarky comment like this.

How is this snarky? It does happen. Life does go on. I've had many of my favorite shows dropped from Netflix.

Im glad you posted that, ive never seen Buffy and planned to start watching it on Friday!

Youre right though, chances are it wont be gone for too long. Its supposedly back for season 11 in 2018. When season 10 came out I watched every XFiles on Netflix till the opening day.
