‘Supernatural’ Season 12: Rick Springfield Cast as Lucifer’s Vessel | TVLine

This is great! Good to see Rick back in the spotlight. Will he be playing himself?

It is an interesting choice. I guess Mark Pellegrino is too busy to come back. When Lucifer used Cas as the meat suit, the actor was true to character. I wonder if Rick Springfield will be able to recreate Lucifer as well. He has some big shoes to fill. I will be disappointed if he can't.

Yeah, Mark was great. I wonder what he is busy doing..another show, or a movie perhaps. He deserves it.

I just read that Mark Pellegrino is not pleased with the recast. He misses the show and wants to come back.
