But Hamilton isn't the new permanent Colonel. Jim Gaffigan replaced Norm MacDonald who replaced Darrell Hammond - all in the last year. Hamilton is a special Colonel for the crispy chicken and WWE wrestler Dolph Zigler just played the Colonel as he shows the power of the Chicken Little sandwich.

KFC's current marketing revolves around new Colonels popping up regularly to show that no one can replace the original Colonel - just like Chik-Fil-A can't replace KFC.
