Would you donate money to public television, or are there more worthy places to get rid of your excess dough? I've always been a big fan of public television, and am thinking about including them in my will.

I have contributed to some of their fundraisers when they were saying they needed money to continue certain programs which I like. My "estate" will go to my family.

I support public television frequently. If you believe that it's a worthy cause, support it.

I don't have extra money. If I did, I would donate it to someplace LOCAL, not some big corporation.

We used to donate when the kids were little and watched the kid shows on PBS.

But man, they badgered the heck out of us for more and more donations.

We finally cut them off and haven't given to PBS since.

I donate monthly to both my local PBS stations, and have done so for years.

$30-$50 bucks is the sum total of your excess monetary dough? Donate or don't donate but it's not a big financial burden in either case.
