So, okay, didn't see that coming, but guess I shoulda. Since everyone is already at black jacket standard, GR needs to make sure they can go the distance. That was the right call.
Oh, and Chef's comment about "No-Stars" cracked me up!
And I knew it was too good to be true with the drama queens playing nice with each other. It looks like next week the crazy shiitake hits the fan
I'm all in on this. We tuned in for Hell's Kitchen every season for about the first 10-11 seasons before it got old. Haven't watched in several years now.
But we are back on board for an all-star season! Should be fun!
I’m in the same boat. Watched for years but drifted off as it got repetitive. I hope they mix up the challenges and formula a lot with this season.
Slightly off topic but I still miss Kitchen Nightmares. That I’d watch again happily.
Well, that was rather interesting. The blue team mostly crushed it, but it doesn't save Ben. He must really have been out of it.
I think part of Elise's problem is her face. Not in a sexist way; it's possible for both genders to have faces that suggest negative traits. (I've been told I looked like a racist, for example. Mr. Texas on this show looks to me like one, and in reality I know there is zero logical reason to believe that, just as there is zero logical reason to look at me and assume I get extra mileage out of my bedsheets.) But Elise's natural expression simply shouts to me that she doesn't care about another human being. And that's horrible, because she can't help the face she has, and because it's probably untrue. It's not that it ruins everything for her; rather, when she falters or has a conflict, that naturally snotty look taints the impression. She could be very reasonable and it would still be hard to process.
Yeah, that was kinda out of the blue to pick Ben out of nowhere and put him out to pasture ... WTH?????!!!!! As much as I dislike Elise, at least this season she took responsibility for screwing up the meat station. When she was on before, nothing was ever her fault - it was everybody else's fault.
Not sure yet who this Donkey is rooting (braying) for, but I have a feeling Elise will be in the final two.
Haha Elise doesn't seem as good this time though. Like she hasn't grown as a chef. That guy really let himself go. Not surprised that he got the boot. The medics probably told GR that this guy is a walking nightmare under that pressure. That Van is still annoying but he does seem to have grown as a chef. That's what'll get far. Not sure who I'm for yet. I do like whatsherface Dana?, who's always joking. I like her. She makes me laugh so yeah, I like that.
Yeah, should have been Barbie, but they gotta keep Barbie and Elise around for the drama. I agree - Van is so un-hot!!! He and Barbie ... OY!!!!! So far it seems like Milly is the best chef in the feedlot.
