I currently create TV shows, and work with production companies around LA on developing new series. I actually just made a deal with a pro co this last week on a new reality show.
Everyone in this group seems to be so passionate about TV and I'm wondering if anyone else works in the wonderful world of TV?

Sounds like an interesting job. May I inquire what type of reality show?
Unfortunately I'm not, but my son was/is. He still gets some work here and there, but is finding it difficult at the moment to get any ongoing work. Right now he's working on a documentary for a few weeks on contract as an editor.
I think my question puts this more into the Work category, but how did you get into creating for TV? If you'd asked people if they have thought about working in TV, I think you'd have gotten many more affirmative replies (I mean, geez, millions of people probably have fantasized about being actors). Meanwhile, those actually in the industry probably prefer private online groups.
That is awesome! I would love to be on a reality show. Please let me know how to apply, etc.
Whenever you watch a reality show that you like, make note of the production company in the credits at the end and go to their website. You can usually apply for shows they produce there.
