Did it bother anyone else that Eddie's mom didn't walk her down the aisle? I didn't think it was special that Frank escorted her. And if I had been Eddie's mom I would have been extremely hurt that it wasn't me, when I was her only family member.

No, not me. I had been wondering if the actress who plays Edit was feeling all goofy being "walked down the aisle" by the most handsome man on the planet!

Eddie's mom (the character) cares a lot about appearances/what people think, so I imagine that her daughter being walked down the aisle by a tall man with Frank/Selleck's presence who also happens to head the police department in the most populous city in the country was just fine with her.
Darn - I fell asleep before Blue Bloods came on. I'll have to catch the wedding on Hulu or Netflix. As for who walked Eddie down the aisle, I think some women choose not to do that at all these days, especially strong, independent women.
They attended Harvard Law School together (and I think got engaged while students there), and she was a first year associate at a Manhattan law firm in the pilot (she took a long lunch to attend Jamie's police academy graduation).
IMO, personality wise, she was kind of a pill.
I also got the impression that Danny wasn't one of her biggest fans .
She broke up with Jamie in Episode 8 of Season 1. She decided she couldn't handle the danger aspect Jamie's job, and being offered a job in London brought that into focus and she took the position in London.
(I had only seen an average of two episodes a year over the course of the series...until April of 2019. During the first week of April I started watching from the beginning on Netflix (The first 8 seasons/All but this last season #9 are on Netflix). After finishing watching Season 8, I signed up for a 7 day free trial of CBS All Access. Season 9 is on CBS All Access, and I finished watching Season 9 a couple of days ago.)
I noticed in the comments in some web article about Blue Bloods that someone had pointed out that a different actress played Nicky in the pilot (I hadn't noticed ...perhaps she didn't make an impression on others either). Last night I logged onto Netflix, and sure enough, that was the case. She then took what was described as a long trip (offscreen) to San Francisco with her father, and we don't see Nicky again (played by Sami Gayle...who has played Nicky ever since) until episode 4.
I also noticed in the pilot that they used a different house for the street view of Frank and Henry's house. They don't show the street view in episodes 2, 3, and 4. In episode 5 of Season 1 they first showed the outside shot of the house we have come to know from nearly every episode since (in the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn at 8070 Harbor Ridge Terrace, near Ft. Hamilton High School).
I logged on to cancel my free 7 day trial (CBS All Access) with a few minutes to spare. I clicked to cancel, and they offered me a free month. I took it...so I may rewatch more of Season 9.

From what I understand, Netflix doesn't add the previous season of Blue Bloods each year until July (I don't know about Hulu).
You could do like I did and get a free 7 day trial for CBS All Access (all of the just completed Season 9 episodes are there on the CBS All Access website)
Since the beginning of July I've been checking a couple of times a week to see if Netflix has added Season 9 of Blue Bloods....and still nothing.
Amazon is scheduled to release Season 9 on DVD on August 20th, 2019 (3 days from now).
Hopefully, Netflix will add Season 9 on the same day, or a few days later.
I've been getting e-mails with offers for another trial of CBS All Access, so if Netflix doesn't add Season 9 before the new Season 10 starts, I may do another trial of CBS All Access to be able to watch Season 9 again before Season 10 starts.

Thanks for keeping us updated as to what is going on with the streamers and Blue Bloods, appreciate it.
Season 10 starts on Friday, September 27th, 2019...two weeks from tonight.
I just checked my e-mail, and the last offer I had to get CBS All Access for a free month again expired August 31st.
And Season 9 still hasn't been added to Netflix yet .
I might have paid for a month just to watch Season 9 again had I not found what I found earlier this month....
...Earlier this month, while looking for something else, I found that a user on YouTube called Alice Blue (Alice Blue is a shade of blue that was favored by Theodore Roosevelt's daughter Alice) created a series of YouTube videos that 'she' calls Jamko Vital Scenes.
She broke down all (or at least seemingly all) of Eddie and Jamie's scenes together and all of the scenes that relate to them (and also their relationship) when one of them is with another character.
Each scene has a title screen with a black background. The videos feed automatically, one to the next, so you don't have to search for the next one. They are arranged to feed in the order in which they have appeared in the series. Each video/scene is anywhere from 2 minutes to just under 5 minutes. Video/scene #1 = Eddie introducing herself as Jamie's new partner in Season 4, and the last video/scene is at the end of Season 9. I watched them all over a series of days. I just remembered which video I had last watched and would search for that one when I resumed watching the next day. Searching for that episode would bring me to that point along the queue/line, like a bookmark. There are 258 of the videos/scenes. I really enjoyed watching them. I thought she ('Alice Blue') did a really good job on this. It gives a different perspective than watching full episodes on Netflix or CBS All Access that would cover the same time/season frame.
