Found this on YouTube and started watching Season 1. A big twist is that each tribe has a Captain, that was pre-selected by the show. (They are ex-athletic stars, but from the descriptions, I am not even sure what sport.) The captain can't be voted out and doesn't vote at tribal (except for final - voting for a winner). The first challenge had the captains going solo against each other.
Overall, I don't like the concept with captains, but will continue to watch.
I remember this as a great season, in large part because of the setting.
IIRC, Africa itself was like the ultimate contestant that whipped everyone's butt, all the time. I feel like I remember Jeff Probst saying that there was this eeriness around the setting, the feeling that the land was alive and conscious, and he may have been exaggerating about this, but he said that in several of the eliminations, a single torch, the very one belonging to the person voted out, was blown out before they even brought it up to Jeff for snuffing.
Is it complete? I was watching the NZ edition and it wasn't complete and/or had issues. Like a complete season to watch in this down time for the US edition.
Jonas hit on something. When seasons of New Zealand or South Africa are posted on Youtube you need to watch them fairly quickly. Season 7 of Survivor New Zealand should come out by spring I believe. (Hope it ends up on Youtube.)
Speaking of Season 7, this looks to be one of the contestants, cute as a button although she could also end up being annoying, will be interesting to see how she acts during the season. https://youtu.be/BQMiN0xGYpA
