There's a new book out on Ross Bagdasarian Sr. (aka David Seville), the creator of the 1961-1962 series The Alvin Show. The book covers the life of Bagdasarian, but also the Alvin TV show and records etc. This is the program with Chipmunks Alvin, Simon, and Theodore as well as inventor Clyde Crashcup and his assistant Leonardo.
Did any of you watch The Alvin Show in the 1960's, in syndication, or in the 1990's on Nickelodeon? What were your favorite episodes or characters? I remember watching the cartoons as a child in the 1960's as part of a San Francisco kids show called "Mayor Art".
