Did anyone else watch the premiere of "The Affair"?
I foiund it very compelling and really like the way they show the same scenarios from the viewpoints of both the man and the woman he's having the affair with.

I don't have Showtime but if it's good I may consider downloading on Itunes. For those who saw it what other show would you compare it to?
Thus far it's impossible to compare with anything else. As I started watching it I wasn't sure that it would be something I'd want to follow but the further into it I got the more intriguing it became. A friend of mine said he watched it briefly, decided it wasn't his cup of tea at all and moved on but I encouraged him to watch more of it and he emailed me the following day and said, "Wow! You were as usual right!"
It's extremely well written and well worth taking a look at it as it slowly and tantalizingly unfolds.
I first heard about it on "Live with Kelly and Michael." Kelly was going on and on about how interesting it was.
The season premiere was this past Sunday night. It's on Showtime at 10 p.m. Eastern time.
