I used to watch the Office. For the first 2 seasons, it was good. It is really a horrible show now....its long since jumped the shark. Its too much of a freaky soap opera now.

Its hard to come up with new and clever ideas after 5 seasons. Its better than many shows on right now.

I have always hated this show. When it was first introduced in England it was a pile of crap then too, although Ricky Gervais is the worst comedian ever so that didn't help the show.

Wow, the british office is genius!
The american version is not as good but very funny in its own way.

Still love it. Although I admit to being a little sick of the Pam/Jim scenario in which it appears that she is very angry with him but she is actually very happy with him. They need to stop pulling that trick. I think that is the show's biggest challenge now - how to keep that sub-plot interesting.
Most of the other characters, on the other hand, just continue to get more interesting.

I LOVE The Office. It's by far my favorite show on tv. This season, however, is not my favorite. They're trying to get too serious. The last couple of weeks (minus the episode following the Superbowl...that was hilarious with Dwight and the fire drill) have been fairly boring. I mentioned to my husband that for the last few episodes the lead writers must have been on vacation!
Hopefully it will get better before the season ends.
I agree with a previous poster that season 2 was the best so far.

I've only seen it a couple of times. Steve Carell is just not funny to me. It's painful to see him act in this show. Now I could watch a show with the receptionist (Jenna Fischer) all day long.

Still love it, but ever since Jim and Pam hooked up it started going downhill. Season 2 is still my favorite.

I really love the British Office too.
