Ok, I am watching Benji the Hunted. I completely forgot what an amazing this dog was. He was awesome. I could never really get into Lassie or Black Beauty, but I LOVED Benji.

Anyone else have a favorite animal actor?

I *loved* Benji in the London movie with Chevy Chase and Jane Seymour. I've watched it again and again!

They have all 4 of the Joe Camp's "Benji" classics on one DVD from Mill Creek Entertainment, I got mine at Wal-Mart in the $5 movie bin.

oh jeez, I still get teary when I think of the scene when the little baby mountain lion got snatched up by the bird

I was REALLY into Lassie, especially the TV series where Little Timmy was all grown up. and I know it's not a TV show, but I liked The Doberman Gang, especially since I had a neighbor who owned a red dobie. that movie really made me want to become an animal trainer when I was a kid

don't think so (I think the movie starts out w/ 4 and ends w/ 3 original surviving kittens plus the lone kitten the other female mountain lion (the one Benji dumps the kittens on) had))
