about a year ago I was turned onto the brilliant Canadian show, Trailer Park Boys. Has any other Americans (or Canucks) fallen in love with this show? Why hasn't HBO or Comedy Central picked up this gem? So many characters to choose from, but who is your favorite? What's your favorite line/quote? Am I all alone here?

I was introduced to the Trailer Park Boys by my Canadian friends. I own Season 1 -4 so far.
Sadly, they are ending the show. No more new episodes.
I can't pick a favorite. I love Bubbles, Jillian, and Ricky equally.
Ricky is hilarious how he uses the wrong words. lmao!!

I think HBO did try and pick them up years ago and it didn't hit.

The only way I get to see TPB is Netflix.
I'm all about Bubbles.
All his kitties, lol.

Best of Bubbles

Talking HUGE TPB Fan

Just caught your post. Look for the "Trailer Park Boys 411 "website - they have petitions to HBO and Showtime you can sign. I just posted one on the HBO site. I watch it religiously every Thursday night at 10pm on Direct TV 101 - THE only channel anywhere in USA showing it. Worth getting Direct TV for. They run it in sequence, showing highlights for next weeks show. I am totally obsessed with this show. It's Canada's "Monty Python". HB0 and Showtime are stupid not to give this show ONE season - as LONG as they don't screw with it in any way, which our execs usually do. I'm a chick and, along with 3 Stooges, Howard Stern and fart jokes, this ranks up there. None of my female friends get it, so I guess I just need to marry John Paul Tremblay and be done with trying any more.

One funny show. I Netflix it as well. I remember having seen it on one of the premium movie channels and then lost track of it.

I just recently switched from cable to Direct TV and have fallen in love with this show. It is on my list of DVDs(or iTunes) to buy and I watch it every chance i get.

Bubbles is by far my favorite character from any TV show.

Bubbles is my favorite as well. Truly an original character with so many quoteworthy moments.

FYI, for anyone interested, there is a season 8 now available via subscription on Swearnet. I haven't gotten around to it - I may after the holidays as I just finished binge-watching the series. I was wondering if anyone here has gotten a look at it and if it's worth it.

I'm also considering seeing these guys live. They travel around and do comedy skits as their TPB characters.

Another TPBs fan here - Bubbles is my fave as well. I haven't seen a "S8" epi from swearnet either but I fear it will not be as good. The principal cast is behind S8/swearnet and also did this

The Drunk and On Drugs Happy Fun Time Hour - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

So if this is the best they can cook up, I am doubtful. Some of the principal cast had writing credits on the first 7 seasons but I can't help but think they had only minor roles / token contributions. I recently rewatched all 7 seasons and had a blast.

Haven't seen s8 either. I'm hoping it finds its way to Netflix. It has been announced that the third feature film, Don't Legalize It, is set to open in Canada in April 2014. That's the last with Clattenburg directing as he and Barry Dunn (plays Ray) sold their rights to Welles, Tremblay, and Smith, who are producing S8. On bright note, I believe Corey Bowles (Corey), is back for S8.
