I beg to differ, not about "that was it?" but Goren and Eames DID ride off into the sunset "getting together". You had to have watched REALLY close and being a woman also helped me "decipher" what was happening.

Oh yeah, the shrink was helping Bobby. He's going to continue treatment and pay for it himself. He TRUSTS her. That's a biggy. He also realized that he TRUSTS Eames more than anyone and that he actually LOVES her. You could tell she's just been waiting for some time now for him to realize she loves him and last night was the time. So off they rode into the good night....*sigh*

That's the way I HAVE to look at it. It would have been a real bummer and let down if I did not.

I totally agree with this post. I thought the episode was great. I'm happy to know that there are 2 people Bobby trusts and who care about him. He's such a complex personality I've enjoyed him all these years.

I am a woman too Maybe I need to watch the ending again (have it DVR'd), I was watching it during breakfast and perhaps didn't pay attention to the nuances.

LOL, okay, sistah! Yeah,, it really wasn't something to watch while pre-occupied. You need to watch their eyes too. You'll see it then.

I just hope you're right. That is how I would like to think of those two who both looked so beautiful together last night.

Yes they did, Nancy. I have always wanted them to be a couple. It musta killed Eames to watch Bubby get snared into whatshername's games. The Brit (Aussie?) psychopath chick.

For what it's worth, I am happy with the ending and wish the new couple all the best. LOL like they are real.

That was Nicole. She was a memorable character, though, wasn't she? I kind of expected those two to get together at least once (sort of like Maddie and Bruce Willis) in "Moonlighting".

Thanks, Nancy. Ah yes, Nicole. She certainly was a character. I almost wanted Bubby and her to get it on too but I think that would have totally destroyed the fan base and Bubby's image. Too much sleeze factor involved there.

Penguin_ie.....have you watched the eppie again yet? Did you see it in a new light?

I am upset that ION replaced Law and Order CI. I love Vincent D'Onofrino. I never stay up that late, but I would for Detective Robert Goren. 12/22/17
