GLASGOW, Scotland, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- A 7-year-old Scottish guitarist who made it to the finals of a Britain-wide talent competition was disqualified for being too young.
Kris McDowall placed in the Top 3 at the Open Mic U.K. contest Saturday at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow, Scotland, a feat that would have sent him to the finals in Manchester, England, had organizers not disqualified him due to his age, Glasgow's Daily Record reported Wednesday.
