There are a few success stories from MTV's Real World. A few have become doctors, lawyers, and entrepreneurs.
However, most of the people that appear in Real World/Road Rules have difficulty finding jobs because of the consequences of their actions on the show.
This thread got me to think of looking up people from the show. He seems pretty happy having a family in wisconsin (wife rachel from real world san francisco). Hard to believe they are both 38.
I remember Rachel auditioned for The View - the ended up choosing Elisabeth Hasslebeck. Good for her and Sean - appears they have done some admirable things in their post Real World lives but admittedly I NEVER EVER liked Rachel one single bit. I always felt like she turned her back on Pedro.
I remember when Steven slapped Irene! It was soooo shocking! And they staged some kind of intervention about his "anger issues." So funny compared to how the cast of recent Real Worlds treat one another. Since we are living in a time where everyone wants their 15 minutes of fame and could careless about how they get it, I am inclined to think that many of the outbursts, fights, name calling, and overal disgusting behavior is all for the camera. All I ever think is doesn't anyone care what their parents or grandparents will think if they see them on television acting like a fool? Then again most parents are as big or bigger famewh*res as their spawn.
Puck's antics included eating community peanut butter out of the jar with his finger and shooting snot rockets - can you imagine how "boring" that would seem now????
