The miniseries Olive Kitteridge runs this coming Sunday and Monday, 9-11 PM. Then Season 3 of The Newsroom starts on November 9 at 9:00.

Most of my favorite series on PBS, HBO and Netflix are either over or in between seasons. So there is not a lot of great TV (IMHO) to stream. I have been watching Ballers, The Brink, Show Me A Hero and Last Week Tonight. I wonder how many episodes there will be of Show Me A Hero? Based on last night's episodes if Ballers and The Brink over, over for the season or will continue next week. Last Week Tonight did not seem to be available on HBO-GO late last night. Is that over for the season?

10 Upcoming New HBO Series To Be Excited About

Some of these actually look pretty good.

Lately, there has also been the talk of a possible Game of Thrones prequel. That could be great, as long as they aren't doing baby Ned and Robert, because by the end of the main series we pretty much know all the high points of that plot. I'd much rather see them go back and do some of the more ancient history stuff.

Show Me A Hero is a six part miniseries. Part 5 and 6 will air next Sunday.

Last night was the season finale of Brink. I don't watch Ballers, but I would think its season also ended last night.

There was a Last Week Tonight last night. Looking at Wikipedia, season 2 will be 35 episodes. Last night was the 26th episode of the season, so it would seem like it will go through the end of October.

Thanks for the information (that I was too lazy to look up myself). I assume that both Brink and Ballers will have a second season? (Although not really sure I care too much).

I did find the newest edition of Last Week Tonight last (Monday) night available. Not a good one and I did not watch the whole thing.......

Looking forward to the last two episodes of Show Me A Hero. A series that grew on me.

I liked John Oliver at first, but something about him lately is starting to irk me. I'm not sure what it is.

It irritates me when he must repeat things 3 or 4 times. We get it, okay? I did like the idea of him starting his own church to highlight the hypocrisy of the religious television hawkers.
