Not my normal fare but there wasn't anything else on so we kept it running.

The guy that had to be rescued was a free radical that was going to cause too much trouble and he ultimately did cause trouble for himself with all of his macho posturing to the point that he voted himself off the island.

It might be interesting as it goes forward.

It's a Bear Grylls show so I'm sure they spend the nights in a 5-star hotel.

I have watched both episodes thus far and I must say this show makes the tv show "Survivor" look like the French Riviera.

This is true survivor here; 2 episodes in and 2 people medi-vac out
I am so spoiled

Can someone explain what happened with Mike? What made him start waving around a knife? Surely it wasn't the lack of water. It hadn't been that long.

I've watched both episodes. Last night convinced me that everything is scripted -- like the Blair Witch Project. I believe the contestants are given a role/behavior and a general scene to act out. Either that or these guys are really stupid and a tad insane.

Knowing that a source of water HAD to be somewhere on that island, finding it should have been priority one. With their newly found fresh water supply being a 45 minute walk, they should have moved the group to the water supply rather than spend an hour and a half carrying the water back in the jug. It would have been easy considering they haven't yet built a proper shelter.

Why are none of them sunburned from that tropical sun? They're not even slightly tanned.

Just like Bear Gryllis, the show is fake. What more needs to be said? I won't waste another hour of my time on it. It could have been great.

As usual PS you are spoot on!

CG yes Mike had severe dehydration. As my husband explained it, 110 during the day & walking in the hpt sun would do it very quickly.

I was wondering the same thing, why they are not sun burned? hummmm!

I am not so sure how long I will watch this, it really is slow. Priority, find that water & then make your camp there, near water.

The reason for being near the beach might be producer induced since a couple of camera men are part producer also and the beach provides better camera views.
