I have a brand new 19' lcd tv/dvd combo made by digital labs. My satellite provider hooked-up everything correctly. There was only one cable to connect. The tv is asking me to auto scan, i did that and no channels were found on air and cable. Please someone help me!!!

Since you're using a satellite for your signal I'm guessing "air" and "cable" won't find your channels in auto scan. Is there a "dish/satellite" option on your channel scan? I have cable so I'm not sure how to help you. Sorry.

Your satellite provider doesn't have phone support?
Get a flashlight and see on the TV the jack where the satellite is connected to the TV. See if it has a name printed. Is the cable a coaxil (screw in cable TV type cable) or an HDMI cable? If it's the HDMI then you have to use the TV remote to change the TV's Input setting. Usually this is something like video 1, video 2, video 3, S-video, Component video, or HDMI. If it's the screw on cable, then turn on your satellite and then turn on your tv. You may need to change your TV channel to either 3 or 4. Be sure to read your TV's owner's manual for the cable connection you're using.
