Old San Juan has the potential to become one of the most livable historical neighborhoods in the Americas. It is absolutely breathtaking. Amazing architecture, streets not too long but on a grid, interesting history. I really wish that Spain held on to Puerto Rico so that the rest of the island would be inspired by Spanish urban design and not American suburbanization.

Puerto Ricans living in Puerto Rico should be fighting to preserve and revitalize this area. Kick the cars out making it similar to historical cities like Prague. I can only pray the rest of the city follows this revitalization.

Some very nice pictures...Jeez I miss PR. Is there an update on on the future plans? It seem like pie in the sky but I hope it does happen. I think it will make Old San Juan even more of a world class destination.
